Melon is a seasonal fruit, available from May until November. The quantities that were traded in 2016 are 500 tons.

They are packed in carton boxes of 12-16 kg.
You recognize the maturity of the fruit by its aroma: the heavier the melon, the more aromatic and therefore the more nutritional it is!
